Meet the Doctor

Meet Dr. Nicole Palmer

I grew up in a small town about 40 minutes south of Lansing called Olivet. I attended Olivet Community Schools for my primary education. Once I graduated high school, I started my basic classes at Kellogg Community College (KCC) in Battle Creek, MI. After two years at KCC, I then transferred to Michigan State University. I graduated from MSU with my Bachelors in Human Biology.

I was accepted to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. There I underwent a rigorous curriculum and intense training. I was a member of Sigma Phi Chi sorority, the oldest chiropractic organization in the world. I met an amazing group of women through that sorority. I also participated in the Student International Chiropractic Association, and the physical therapy department to name a few others.
While at Palmer College of Chiropractic, I had the opportunity to provide chiropractic care and humanitarian aid to a country around the world. I was chosen for the Clinic Abroad Vietnam trip. I spent 3 amazing and grueling weeks traveling the country and adjusting patients at various clinic sites. We had four clinic days and we helped over 1,100 people. I saw many wonderful and joyous miracles and also many tragedies. It really put into perspective how bountiful my life is and how much I have to give.

Chiropractic changed my life as a young child. I was 9 years old and still wetting the bed. I had tremendous fear about a sleepover because of it. My doctor didn’t have an answer for my parents and said I would eventually grow out of it. A friend of the family suggested my mother to take me to see Dr. Craft. Through his care I stopped wetting the bed.

I am married to my funny and wonderful husband Kirk. We were high school sweethearts and we married in 2000. We have two amazing boys - Brenden and Cameron. Being a parent is a wonderful part of my life. I thought I would be teaching my children so much but they teach me even more.

I joined Gennero Chiropractic in 2010 and I am loving it. The Highland / Milford area has welcomed me with open arms and helped me to feel at home immediately. I have a passion for being a chiropractor and working with children is my biggest joy. I hope to meet you soon and help you reach your fullest health potential.

Meet Dr. Gennero

I attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan for my pre-chiropractic education. I then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where I received my chiropractic degree. While attending Palmer College I attended numerous seminars and also worked as an intern in a private practice to enhance my knowledge of patient care. After graduation from Palmer College I associated in a chiropractic family practice for a year prior to opening my practice in Highland. Originally from Warren, in Macomb County I was drawn to the wide open spaces and the numerous lakes in the Highland / Milford area.

I am happily married to my wife Pam and we have been blessed with four wonderful children. Most of our free time is spent with our kids doing all sorts of things from home schooling to carting our kids to their numerous after school activities. As most parents know it can get hectic at times but the rewards of being a parent are priceless.
